Job Description

Westwood Laboratories, a leading contract manufacturer of skin and hair care products in Azusa, California, is looking for an individual experienced in cost analysis, purchasing or planning. We will train the candidate in project costing, a key role on our accounting/operations team. Salary will be generous for the right individual!

The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing environment focused on consumer products. We will consider candidates that have purchasing, planning and/or cost analysis roles in manufacturing.

Key duties:

1. Researches chemical, component and labor costs for new or current projects

2. Prepares quotations for manufactured product

3. Tracks the cost of client liabilities

4. Ideal background would include experience with Liquid Contract Manufacturing (Personal Care Products)

The price analyst specialist is responsible for developing sophisticated finished goods product quotations by analyzing and inputting a variety of costs related to manufacturing and production.

This is NOT a work-from-home position; it is a fulltime on-site job.

Reports to: Controller (Accounting Department)

Desired Skills:

·      Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel

·      Advanced math skills with weights, measures and dollars.

·      Experience accessing data from an ERP system, including formula data, inventory reports, purchasing history, detailed BOM cost reports and historical SKU sales.
