WHITE GLOVE COMMUNITY CARE, A WELL KNOWN HOME CARE AGENCY IN BROOKLYN IS SEEKING TO HIRE A HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER TO JOIN OUR TEAM. We are seeking qualified candidates that are looking for a comprehensive and rewarding experience to grow their career with us!
The HR Recruitment manager is responsible to Manage, monitor and evaluate and update all Aide files to ensure ongoing compliance with local, state and federal regulations, NYS Department of Health and TJC Home Care standards.
Conducts/Engages staff in creative sourcing techniques including, but not limited to sourcing calls, recruiting calls, researching and attending job fairs and open houses, networking with groups and associations including government agencies handling workforce issues, and other related methods.
GOALS:
Direct management and oversight of all HR and Recruitment.
Enforce Quality Improvement of Hiring, on boarding and compliance.
Oversee all orientation and in-service class
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR HR-COMPLIANCE:
· Conducts internal audits of Aide files to assess compliance with regulations, standards and agency policies.
· Ensures that certificates are issued appropriately, and accurate records maintained.
· Arranges in-service training for Aides to comply with regulations.
· Participates in periodic corporate compliance committee meetings; makes recommendations for the improvement of the corporate compliance plan, policies and procedures, and processes.
· Follows the Code of Ethics and adheres to the principles of honesty and integrity; educates and ensures staff compliance with relevant corporate compliance policies and procedures through regular in-service instruction and as a component of each staff member’s performance appraisal; monitors department to ensure that all activities are conducted honestly and in keeping with laws and regulations.
· Prepares and submits data summaries and analysis reports as requested.
· Coordinates and implements day-to-day operational goals. Coaches, mentors and provides leadership for assigned staff. Fosters teamwork and provides an environment whereby staff is self-sufficient, competent and challenged.
· Ensures adherence to organizational policies and departmental procedures.
· Conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff, identifies developmental opportunities and training requirements.
· Prepares, updates and submits management reports including:
Bi-monthly Compliance Statistical report for aides indicating overdue Professional Evaluations, Administrative Evaluations, UDS, PPD, Health Assessments, Mandatory In-services, and Competency Evaluations
Results of external audits conducted by contracts each month;
Approved/Disapproved DOH Training school review and action report;
HHA Availability Report
Aide In-services Report including topics, dates, instructors, and attendees.
Profiles requested and transmitted to external constituencies
Orientation schedule per month
· Assigns and Oversees that Para-Professional Medical and Administrative Evaluations are conducted prior to date of hire and then periodically thereafter as per their due dates
· Ensures that the aide database and paper-based filing systems are promptly, comprehensively and accurately updated with information as soon as it becomes available
· Ensures that aide profiles are carefully reviewed in advance of sending such documentation to external constituencies.
· Performs other duties and responsibilities related to the position that may be assigned
· Reviews and makes recommendations for the improvement of the Corporate Compliance Plan; attends and participates in periodic Corporate Compliance committee meetings.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR RECRUITMENT:
· Manage the recruitment process, from planning and sourcing through using social media, referrals, job boards and LinkedIn and other.
· Oversee candidate screening and employment offer.
· Effectively Direct the sourcing process through instructions of specific parameters, criteria and channels to efficiently identify the appropriate candidates.
· Create a cost-effective, time efficient recruitment system, which includes candidates’ profiles to guide resume screenings.
· Devise Employment sourcing campaigns across several job boards and between relevant institutions, including universities, schools and social clubs.
· Interviews and tracks all aide applicants. Evaluating strengths, character reliability and prior work experience
· Processes all applications in keeping with DOH and White Glove’s requirements.
· Prepares, updates and submits the following management reports to administration on a weekly basis:
Provisionary Aide Tracking Log
Aide Retention Log: Scheduled, Attended, Graduated, and Working tracked for each Recruitment Office
Aide Recruitment Tracking Log for each Recruitment site.
· Ensures that Aides are not discriminated against in the recruitment process.
· Ensures that CHRC’s are completed and results are received prior to hire, and that existing provisionary aides are followed weekly.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ORIENTATION AND INSERVICE CLASS
· Schedules and assigns Teachers to conduct Training Classes.
· Responsible to ensure that Training classes at all sites are filled to capacity with qualified candidates.
· Assigns and tracks RN Instructors and HHA trainees for SPT visits
· Oversees orientation Program and ensure aides are properly educated on company policies, procedures, and expectations; files Orientees’ corporate compliance quiz results in their permanent employee records.
· Assign aides to client cases in partnership with Intake, Coordination and Para-Professional Records departments.
· responsible to ensure adequate staffing in each remote Site. Performs other tasks that may be assigned.
