  • Responsibilities

    SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing special services to customers that will allow them to sell electronic equipment preloaded with various software and operating systems. A key component is to create and maintain tracking logs to maintain inventory.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Unbox electronic hardware
    • Update computer operating system with customer requested software
    • Register management software to purchasing end user
    • Create and apply custom asset tag as needed
    • Maintain record of asset tags, serial numbers and product model number
    • Clean and repackage product in original manufacturer box
    • Palletize completed products for shipping
    • Perform audit on random units from pallet to quality check asset tag and registration information
    • Communicate status and shipping information with D&H sales representative
    • Participate in all necessary manufacturer trainings and testing
    • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record
    • Must be able to successfully work independently, including prioritizing and processing work.
    • Ability to work within established productivity and quality standards

     

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES

     

    • Keep work area neat, clean and hazard free
    • To work in other areas of the warehouse when white glove work is slow
    • May operate equipment (pallet jack, hand jack, etc.)
    • Other related duties as assigned

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

     

    • Knowledge of technology including downloading computer software
    • Knowledge of Windows and Google computer operating systems

     

    WORK SCHEDULE

     

    • Fulltime position (40 hours a week), Overtime, Weekends, Holidays, as required.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

     

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
    • Ability to write correspondence and/or complete employment forms.

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

     

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
