As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed X-Ray Technician to join our team.

    Job Summary:

    The Licensed X-Ray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing patient conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, following established protocols and safety standards.

    Ensure the proper operation of X-ray equipment, including calibration and regular maintenance.

    Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort.

    Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images while minimizing exposure to radiation.

    Review and evaluate images to ensure they meet quality standards and provide adequate information for diagnosis.

    Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.

    Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.

    Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and radiation safety measures.

    Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    Valid state license as an X-Ray Technician.

    Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.

    Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.

    Strong technical skills in operating X-ray equipment and producing quality diagnostic images.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

    Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital X-Ray systems.
