  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join the Treasury Operations team. This role will collaborate cross functionally within financial management to support bank reconciliations, evaluate the treasury matching process, record journal entries and conduct financial analyses. This position provides the opportunity to build valuable knowledge about Penn Mutual that may lead to new roles or additional responsibilities.

    Essential Functions

    • Prepares journal vouchers and accounting classifications related to cash activity

    • Complete bank reconciliations as assigned and resolve discrepancies with appropriate business units in a timely manner

    • Update and maintain the bank reconciliation first notice and matching rule sets to facilitate the daily bank reconciliation process

    • Identifies, recommends and implements ongoing process improvements

    • Ensure activities are in accordance with Corporate Treasury policies and procedures.

    • Prepares and analyzes internal and external ad hoc financial requests, including audit requests.

    • Execute manual wire transfers as needed.

    • Complies with all company and site policies and procedures

    • Remains current in profession and industry trends

    • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements

    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Experience

    · 3-5 Year Related Experience

    Education:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field - Required

    · Master’s degree in Accounting or related field - Preferred

    Base Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
