    Summary:

    Window World of Indianapolis is seeking a versatile and skilled Service Technician to join our team. This dynamic role encompasses the ability to troubleshoot and repair existing installations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and possess a strong aptitude for technical problem-solving.

    Responsibilities:

    Service and Repair:

    Product Expertise: Thoroughly understand Window World products, installation techniques, and potential issues.

    Troubleshooting: Investigate customer complaints or reported problems, diagnose issues, and determine appropriate solutions.

    Repairs: Perform repairs on windows and doors, addressing malfunctions, leaks, drafts, or other concerns.

    Parts Management: Load and maintain a well-organized vehicle inventory of necessary parts and tools for service calls.

    Scheduling: Plan and manage daily schedule to maximize efficiency and meet customer needs.

    Communication: Proactively communicate with customers regarding arrival times, updates, and any necessary rescheduling.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: Previous experience in window and door installation, service, or a related field is a must.

    Technology: Must be able to use a CRM program to enter notes after every appt and upload documents. Must be comfortable learning new technologies. Ability to learn our order entry programs.

    Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair window and door systems.

    Attention to Detail: Meticulous in documentation to ensure accuracy and avoid errors.

    Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with both customers and internal teams.

    Customer Focus: A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients.

    Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

    Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.

    Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
