  • Responsibilities

    Requirements:

    • Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a High-Risk Public Trust security clearance.


    This position is hybrid (on-site/remote). Candidate will be required to work on the Government client's Washington DC site at least three days a week.

    • This position has an initial 30 day on site requirement (4-5 days/week) to ensure familiarization with program and Federal staff and the overall operating environment.

    Qualifications and experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with a minimum of 15 years relevant

    experience, including 8+ years supporting enterprise-scale Windows as a Subject Matter Expert.

    • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) and Windows 10 and 11 Enterprise, GPOs, and security configuration.

    • Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, GPO, Azure AD/Entra ID, Windows PKI, Clustering, SQL Server, and Networking.

    • Must have at least one of the following certifications: CCNA Security; CySA+; GICSP; GSEC; Security+ CE; SSCP; or other comparable security certification.

    Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

    • Have knowledge of Cisco UCS compute, UCS Manager and Intersight.

    • Experience with modern NetApp storage arrays.

    • Experience with VMware vCenter, ESXi, and especially SRM.

    • Linux server management, especially Oracle Linux or other Red Hat Linux based distributions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, deploy, configure, manage, and maintain Windows Servers (2016, 2019, 2022) and Windows (10,11) desktop environments.
    • Experience with advanced Windows server features such as Clustering, as well as supporting Microsoft SQL database servers.
    • Configure and manage Group Policy Objects (GPO) for managing workstations, servers, and users for both functional and security requirements including DISA STIG implementation.
    • Build, maintain, and upgrade Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for use with Microsoft Windows 11 OS workstation and laptop builds, Server 2022, 2019, and 2016 builds, server and workstation security updates and patching, application deployments and software/licensing and compliance reports.
    • Manage user identities and access, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Intune, Windows PKI, ADFS, and Okta.
    • Use automation tools including advanced Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
    • Develop automated solutions using Microsoft Power Bi, Power Platform, integrating it seamlessly with Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
    • Utilize Microsoft 365 for Enterprise to enable productivity and collaboration while maintaining a high-security standard across all applications.
    • Leverage Microsoft Azure for the development and deployment of scalable applications and services; HPC, SQL Azure, AI, machine learning, IoT, and analytics.
    • Provide expertise in troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex environments.
    • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft products, services, and best practices, and apply them within the organization.
    • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain a reliable IT knowledge base.
    • Mentor and train technical staff and end-users to optimize their use of Windows and Microsoft technologies.
    • Work within a high-availability VMware environment.

     

  • Compensation
    $180,000-$200,000 per year
