Tyle x Lieu Dit are seeking dynamic and knowledgeable individuals to join our wine bar and tasting room team as Hospitality Associate. This role blends the art of hospitality with the technical skill of service, placing you at the forefront of our guest experience. As a Wine Bar Server, you will guide guests through curated wine selections, provide expert recommendations, and serve our thoughtfully designed wine bar menu.
This role extends beyond serving to encompass sharing our brand story, educating guests on the basics of winemaking and viticulture, and showcasing the unique characteristics of our local wine region. Wine Bar Servers play an integral part in driving wine sales, fostering connections with guests, and encouraging wine club membership sign-ups, all while delivering a seamless, elevated dining and tasting experience. Qualifications: • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding hospitality. • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and a polished demeanor. • A genuine passion for wine, food, and hospitality, with a strong interest in learning more about winemaking, viticulture, and the local wine region. • Previous experience in wine service, hospitality, or food and beverage is highly preferred but not required. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative in guest interactions and operational tasks. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for guest visits. • Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol and have or be willing to obtain applicable certifications (e.g., food handler’s permit, alcohol server training).
