Wine Sale Representative (Off-Premise) for E-Corp Inc, Denver, Aurora, & Parker

We are a Colorado family-owned and operated, small business that has imported and distributed unique alcohol beverages for over 30 years.
About This Position:
Part-time Sales Representative in East Denver-Metro (Specifically: Downtown Denver, Aurora, and Parker. Weekdays, Monday-Friday – with possible occasional Saturdays for tasting events ( 1 or 2 per year).
A typical full-time work week is Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm, with Friday having more relaxed hours for wrapping up loose ends. However, a part time position could be half days, or 3 full days only. Visit a set list of customers daily with established sales and check their inventory, recommend reorders and possible new items based on current trends, and pull bottles to the front of shelves. See roughly 9-12 customers per day. Show customers new wines, check shelves for reorder opportunities, Collect orders and then enter into company-supplied tablet to submit orders to the office. All orders due by 6pm daily with sales report of accounts visited, payments collected, and any sales notes. Customers will occasionally ask you to pour at events or in-store wine tastings which are on Fridays and Saturdays to increase sales.
We have roughly 15 sales meetings per year in Englewood, Colorado (South of Denver) on Fridays at 11:30am at our warehouse. These meetings are about 2 hours long and involve trying new wines, discussing sales tactics for new products, talking with reps in the team in other territories and picking up samples. We are a friendly and laid-back team and are looking for someone who will fit in with our crew.
Compensation: Commission only. Can currently expect around $40,000 per year, though this territory has brought in $60,000 in past years. Commissions depends on one’s work ethic and diligence, with no limitations to future growth, but you do have to earn the trust of your customers in the first year for this to grow. The restaurants and bars in this area have not been tapped, which means there are many opportunities for growth. Sales promotions and incentives are also available from vendors as bonuses. IF the employee chooses to work full time, we do have Health Benefits (KAISER), Delta Dental, available after two months of employment.

Own and drive a reliable car with good driving record
Are a self-starter who is able to schedule and manage their time efficiently without micro-management
Are able to lift 40lbs (Case of wine)
Can use a computer, navigate online, send emails, use basic spreadsheets, use Google Drive.
Have previous sales experience --- Highly Desirable, but not required
Have knowledge of wines + spirits --- Highly Desirable, but not required
Have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and great customer service
Can start work January 16th, 2024, or shortly thereafter.
