Essential Job Functions: Duties: All aspects of the wine operations including but not limited to:
Establish and maintain grower relations
Coordinate and supervise fruit/honey reception and processing
Maintain detailed records of winemaking operations and data
Development of adherence to standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and cGMP
Adherence to TTB guidelines for wine production and reporting
Training and supervision of winery staff
Manage all aspects of premium wine production including but not limited to:
Raw material processing
Fermentation management
Wine movements and additions
Laboratory analysis/bench trials
Sensory evaluation of wines in process and identification/mitigation of faults
Centrifugation/filtration
Stabilization
Fining
Packaging
Maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation of winery equipment, vessels, and facility
Tracking and maintaining inventory of winemaking and packaging materials
Development of and adherence to production forecasts and deadlines
Public relations, when necessary
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university; and two to four years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates and licenses:
Valid Driver’s License
Forklift certification
