    Senior Associate Attorney - NYC Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP seeks a Senior Associate with 4-7 years of litigation experience to join its headquarters in New York City. NY & NJ bar admission is required for diverse practice including professional liability, securities litigation, labor & employment, and insurance broker liability. We are looking for candidates with experience in civil litigation and a demonstrated ability to independently move cases toward resolution or trial. Responsibilities: • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motions • Assisting with discovery, including drafting demands, analyzing responses, and reviewing/digesting document productions • Conducting Legal Research • Working closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects and assignments • Regularly handling court appearances and depositions • Reporting to clients and carriers on the status of each matter • Organizing and prioritizing workload Qualifications: Skills & Competencies • High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively • Strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills • The position requires strong knowledge of federal and state rules of civil procedures • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, and effectively prioritize multiple tasks • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation • Recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintain such information as confidential • JD from an accredited law school • Must be admitted to practice in New York & New Jersey • 4-7 years of experience • Court appearances and deposition experience required • Experience drafting summary judgment motions and other dispositive motions • Knowledge of federal and state rules of civil procedures Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000
