Responsibilities: • Drafting legal documents such as pleadings and motions is a critical responsibility for the Associate Attorney in New York, NY. • Assisting in the discovery process includes drafting demands, analyzing responses, and reviewing document productions. • Conducting in-depth legal research to provide robust case support is essential for this role. • Close collaboration with fellow attorneys and Partners on legal projects and assignments is a fundamental aspect of the position. • Regularly handling court appearances and depositions is a key duty of the Senior Associate Attorney. • Providing timely updates on case statuses to clients and carriers is a necessary part of the role. • Efficiently organizing and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines is crucial for the Senior Associate Attorney. Qualifications: • Must have obtained a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. • Must be licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey. • Should have a background of 1-5 years in litigation. • Previous experience in court appearances and depositions is required. • Proficient in drafting summary judgment motions and other legal motions. • A thorough understanding of federal and state rules of civil procedures is necessary. Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 yearly
