Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Sign-On Bonus: $500 for eligible new hires

Position Summary

As a Wire EDM Machinist, you will operate multiple Wire EDM machines, ensure quality throughout the production process, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and collaborate with team members. Ideal candidates will bring experience in Wire EDM machining, machine setup, and inspection, and be skilled in reading technical drawings and performing detailed inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and switch jobs as required, ensuring smooth production runs.
• Parts Handling: Load and unload parts with precision.
• Quality Control: Verify parts are conforming before sign-off and monitor any scrap generated.
• Maintenance: Perform minor machine maintenance to keep operations running efficiently.
• Work Environment: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and foster a team-oriented environment.
• Communication: Maintain clear, effective communication with co-workers and supervisors across shifts.
• Attendance: Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience: 1+ years of Wire EDM machining experience, including setup and programming.

Preferred but Not Required:

• Additional Skills: CNC milling, tool design, troubleshooting, and machine repair experience.
• Software Proficiency: Mastercam and Esprit experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Tool and die experience; solid grasp of shop mathematics.
