Wire Technician/Assembler

Responsibilities:

Assemble instrument sub-assemblies and products as instructed.

Wire sub-assemblies, cables, and products using hand tools.

Solder wires to printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Rework and modify PCB assemblies as needed.

Create mechanical test fixtures.

Assist in inspecting metal work in the receiving department.

Make minor modifications to metal parts in the company machine shop.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

High school diploma (or equivalent work experience/technical training).

Solder certification.

US Citizenship.

Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and PCBs.

Experience with hand and manufacturing tools.

Knowledge of quality control procedures.

Clear communication in English (written and verbal).

Availability for overtime when needed.
