We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Stonemason to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

    As a Journeyman Stonemason, you will play a key role in the construction, repair, and restoration of stone structures and features. Working independently or as part of a team, you will utilize your expertise in stonemasonry techniques to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

    Responsibilities

    - Execute all aspects of stonemasonry projects, including layout, cutting, shaping, and setting of stone materials.

    - Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise execution of project requirements.

    - Select and source appropriate stone materials based on project specifications and client preferences.

    - Operate and maintain stonemasonry tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

    - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines and ensure smooth project execution.

    - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

    - Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentice stonemasons as needed.

    - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials and debris.

    Qualifications

    - Journeyman-level certification in stonemasonry or equivalent experience.

    - Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a stonemason, with a proven track record of successful project completion.

    - Proficient knowledge of stonemasonry techniques, materials, and tools.

    - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

    - Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.

    - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    - Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy stone materials and working in various weather conditions.
