Women’s Case Manager

NEW LIFE MISSION IS GROWING! Our dynamic and talented staff work together to help Brevard County families permanently break the cycle of homelessness. In our long-term transformational program, homeless women with children receive housing, access to health care, education, financial coaching, job training, Bible study and life skills classes in a safe, Christ-centered residential setting. The program is designed to lovingly transform families from dependency to self-sufficiency through daily accountability, personal responsibility and goal advancement.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Case Manager is responsible for determining the needs of the families in the program, accessing and linking participants to resources, and holding them accountable for progress toward goals. Case Managers communicate frequently with assigned students, conduct individual case management sessions, and track the progress of each student and the family as a whole. Case load may be up to ten families. This position may require some evening/weekend hours and calls/text messages after hours.

REQUIRED SKILLS

2+ years of case management experience preferred

Patience, empathy and the ability to have hard conversations and provide loving correction

Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional time management skills

Ability to work well with a team and collaborate on out-of-the-box solutions

Ability to write clear, concise, accurate case notes and other communications

Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

SALARY/HOURS/LOCATION

Full-time 40 hours per week

Salary dependent on experience and skills

Paid Time Off (PTO), 9 Holidays
