Uncommon Sports Group: Women’s Engagement Associate
Uncommon Sports Group is looking for a Women’s Engagement Associate to join their team in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Uncommon Sports Group (USG) is a Christ-centered non-profit whose mission is to see the Sports and Athletics Industries used for God’s glory. A career in the sport industry can be filled with unique pressures and temptations. At Uncommon Sports Group, we provide faith-based training, resources, and relationships that develop Christ-centered leaders to successfully navigate these challenges.
As the Women’s Engagement Associate, you will support the mission of Uncommon Sports Group by leading and engaging in the professional and spiritual development of female college students and young professionals, to make disciples of Jesus Christ in order to transform the sport industry for God’s glory. You will aid in educating and equipping USG participants professionally and spiritually. We seek to help our members navigate the unique pressures, challenges, and temptations that come with a career in the college and professional sports industry. You will contribute to growing USG’s Membership through the engagement of new participants. You will assist in connecting Christ-centered sport industry leaders through networking and relationship building opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
● Uphold organizational core values and celebrate their presence in others.
● Provide professional and spiritual support to female participants before, during, and after their participation in the USG Academy.
● Facilitate authentic connections and relationships among members, students, and other supporters of the organization.
● Help lead program initiatives, including summer mission trips, bible studies, virtual events, and conferences throughout the calendar year.
● Continuously develop personal connections within the collegiate and professional sport industry to grow the USG network and promote USG’s Clean Out For A Cause program.
● Assist in the lead generation of future leaders of the sport industry through recruitment and educational presentations.
● Engage in support raising through inviting others to partner financially in raising up future christ-centered leaders in the sport industry.
● Aid the Executive Leadership Team in strategic thinking, program development, and donor stewardship.
Skill Requirements:
● Biblical and theological knowledge.
● Excellent training and coaching skills.
● Passionate about disciple making and missions.
● Excellent communication and cooperation skills.
● Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Education and Experience Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree
● Professional or non-professional discipleship or student leadership experience
● Experience participating in or working in athletics
● Exhibits a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Role Information:
● Full-Time, Salaried Position
o Primary Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
