Job Description

The SALES REPRESENTATIVE is responsible for all activities related to selling and coordinating lab testing services in their designated territory. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Manage all sales activities in designated territory
• Develop sales with existing customers
• Acquire new customers in sales territory
• Manage customer testing needs on a daily basis
• Collaborate with Agricultural Chemistry Division and Plant Pathology Division to ensure seamless testing support for customers
• Develop treatment recommendations based on sample results
• Follow up on a regular basis after testing completion ensuring quality, satisfaction and value of testing service
• Provide customer feedback in areas to innovate processes and develop additional service offerings to meet customer needs
• Trade show and industry meeting attendance within territory and abroad when needed
• Ensure Wonderful Laboratories visibility and market leadership through participation in industry associations
• Keep up to date on various industry-related research topics through organizations like CA Pistachio Research Board, Almond Board of CA, American Association of Agronomy, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: KEY QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Agriculture, or Business
• Professional license: PCA/CCA
• Experience in agricultural business, sales and marketing
• Experience working directly with growers
• Experience writing recommendations
• Proficient using Microsoft Office products
• Excellent communicator (oral and written)
• Able to travel to domestic locations
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption

Pay Range: $95,000 - $110,000, plus bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
