Woof's at 152ND & METCALF is immediately hiring friendly, guest-oriented customer service, coordinators! You will run our front desk while greeting and caring for our two-legged and four-legged guests. You will be responsible for greeting everyone in a friendly manner, checking our guests in and out of our system, updating guest profiles, and accepting payment for services. This position will also give informational tours during meet and greet sessions. You will be able to work with friendly teammates in a supportive, happy work environment and participate in the following responsibilities:
PARENT & PUP SERVICE AND CARE
- Customer service coordinators greet pet parents promptly and warmly
- Practice superior customer service, over the phone and in person
- Give informative parent tours
- Conduct thorough pup temperament assessments, approving a pup’s enrollment at Woofs
ORGANIZATIONAL AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
- Customer service coordinators maintain an organized front desk with extreme attention to detail while maintaining clear daily notes for the team
- Able to quickly learn company POS system and know Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Sell and up-sell daycare, boarding, grooming, training and retail
- Check pups in and out of DayPlay and maintain the necessary information
- Check-in boarding pups and document all necessary information for the NightStay
- Make copies, receive and send faxes, and monitor confidential information
- Receive payment and keep accurate invoices, revenue reports, and till drawer
- Conduct closing procedures: balancing cash drawer and maintaining Revenue Report
PEER-TO-PEER AND SUPERVISOR RELATIONS
- Customer service coordinators take direction from management
- Have a great sense of humor and be flexible and open-minded to new ideas and change
STEWARD OF BUILDING CARE AND CLEANLINESS
- Customer service coordinators take initiative to ensure the lobby and all areas of the building are clean, organized and surpass Woofs high standards
ANIMAL CARE-TAKING
- Desire to learn or have first-hand knowledge of how to effectively manage and lead a room of pups in DayStay
- Desire to learn or have first-hand knowledge of modern, compassionate animal care methods
- Ability to work in a DayPlay room as needed
