Legal Secretary/Transcriptionist needed for a full-time position at a busy Sarasota law firm. This person is responsible for ensuring complete accuracy when formatting, preparing, revising and filing legal documents. Job Responsibilities :
· Prepare and transcribe correspondence, legal pleadings and documents using document management system templates/forms
· E-file documents throughout Florida Courts
· Transcribe dictation through Dictation Software
Qualifications and Skills:
· Transcription experience in a law firm or legal setting REQUIRED
· Respect for confidentiality
· Detail oriented
· Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
· Excellent typing skills
· Proficient with MS Office and Word Perfect
· Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
