    Job Summary: This is a fast paced administrative law/litigation associate position. A qualified candidate shall be able to handle the demands and pace of litigation representing insurance companies and large public/private companies.

    Legal Focus: Licensed in Missouri and Kansas; specializes in workers’ compensation, insurance subrogation law, and civil liability defense of public entities.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Taking depositions of Plaintiffs, witnesses, experts, and other parties.

    Conducting written discovery.

    Performing legal research.

    Maintaining knowledge of current on legal developments in case law and statutory changes in order to advise clients.

    Drafting pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.

    Conducting trials, hearings, and conferences with judges throughout the state.

    Participate in marketing events such as conferences with prospective clients.

    Education and Qualifications:

    A law degree from an ABA accredited law school

    Licensed to practice law in Missouri

    Preference given to attorneys with prior experience in Workers’ Compensation law

    Preference given to attorneys who bring forth their own base of clients

    Salary/Benefits Offered:

    Competitive salary commensurate with experience

    Performance-based compensation providing the potential to earn up to an additional $22,500+ per year, on top of base salary
