REQUIREMENT: Workday QA Test Lead Onsite (Montpelier, VT) ---Locals Only Long Term Contract Need Overall 10+Years of experience 3 References from the recent projects is must.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing.

· At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

· Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, both manual and automated.

· Experience with standard testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JIRA, LoadRunner).

· Basic knowledge of ERP systems, specifically Workday, and familiarity with integration testing.

· Proven experience as a Test and QA Lead in ERP implementations (Workday preferred)

· Ability to lead multi-phase testing (unit, integration, UAT, performance)

· Excellent communication and leadership skills

· Must reside in Vermont and work on-site in Montpelier

Preferred:

· ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent certification

· 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. (- Hands-on with JIRA for test management)

· Advanced experience in leading QA teams and processes across multiple projects.

· Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Agile Testing Certification).

· Direct experience with Workday ERP implementation

· Experience coordinating between State, vendor, and transformation teams

· Familiarity with public sector project environments

Specific Skills:

· Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

· Basic knowledge of languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.

· Experience with test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail.

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to solve complex issues.

· Capability to create detailed test plans, cases, and reports.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work in cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders effectively.

· Experience in developing and implementing QA best practices.

· Test strategy creation and execution

· JIRA-based defect and test cycle management

· QA process governance and compliance reporting

· Leadership of full test lifecycle and stakeholder communication

· Defect triaging, reporting, and risk mitigation

· Test metrics/dashboard creation and presentation
