    Our growing Workers' Compensation law firm located in Orange County area seeks to add strong Attorney to negotiate work injury claims on behalf of injured workers.

    The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of workers' compensation claims for benefits including medical, disability, and impairment. All aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, arbitrations, liens, and settlement negotiations and documents.

    COMPENSATION

    Salary DOE: $90,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr starting salary before bonuses. Salary Will be Commensurate with the Level of Relevant Experience.

    ATTORNEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    David who is willing to go against a Goliath every day with pride.

    Negotiate workers comp cases against insurance companies and defense counsel.

    Case evaluation and preparation.

    Prepare for and attend hearings/depositions.

    Report on hearings, depositions, appearances.

    Appearance at WCAB.

    Prepare correspondence to clients regarding the status and updates of active claims.

    Perform legal research and analyze cases.

    Develop/recommend case strategy.

    Write briefs and pleadings.

    Negotiate settlements.

    Administrative duties as they relate to the practice of law

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:

    Some Knowledge of workers' comp law (WILLING TO TRAIN)

    Ability to work a large caseload

    Ability to manage caseload effectively

    Identify and retain medical experts and/or legal experts for each respective matter, as needed

    Must be comfortable providing guidance to non-attorney team members as needed

    Diligence, strong work ethic, and sound judgment is needed

    Effective time management

    Excellent interpersonal, and organizational skills

    Technologically adept

    Must have passed the Bar Exam in California

    Work Location: In-person (Stanton, CA)
