Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our expanding team in our Fulton Market headquarters. As part of our innovative firm, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in Workers' Compensation law to drive positive outcomes for our clients while contributing to our firm's growth and success. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling workers' compensation cases, a deep understanding of the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act, and a proven track record of successfully representing clients in this field. Responsibilities: • Manage a diverse caseload of Workers' Compensation matters, providing comprehensive legal representation to clients throughout all stages of the claims process. • Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings. • Collaborate with clients, medical professionals, and expert witnesses to build strong cases and achieve favorable outcomes. • Stay informed about developments in Workers' Compensation law, industry trends, and best practices, and share insights with colleagues to enhance firm-wide knowledge and capabilities. • Utilize innovative approaches and technologies to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to clients. • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless case management and client satisfaction. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the Illinois State Bar and in good standing. • Minimum of three years of experience practicing Workers' Compensation law in Illinois is preferred but not required. • Proven track record of successfully handling Workers' Compensation cases from start to finish. • Strong litigation skills, including excellent courtroom demeanor and persuasive oral advocacy. • Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Commitment to innovation, continuous learning, and embracing new technologies and strategies to enhance legal practice and client service. Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000
