    Sodoro Law Group is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense attorney to join our quickly expanding multi-jurisdictional firm. We are looking for an individual who has 3+ years of Workers' Compensation Defense experience and must have the ability to practice in one or more of our jurisdictions: Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, and Arizona. The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases, resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients, and primarily focus their practice in Workers' Compensation Defense.

    Additional Roles & Responsibilities:

    1. Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.

    2. Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.

    3. Provide effective and timely communications, reports, information, legal advice, and other services to clients and claims on legal and factual issues.

    4. Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.

    5. Responsible for prompt, efficient, and effective deposition of assigned cases.

    6. Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trial, judicial and administrative hearings and alternative dispute resolutions.

    7. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple deadlines, be highly organized, have strong written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to learn and collaborate and have an excellent work ethic.
