The Policy Coordinator/Underwriting Assistant ensures efficient handling of policy service requests and serves as the primary point of contact between clients, insurance providers, and internal teams. This role requires strong organizations skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities.

    Essential Duties and Job Requirements:

    • Serve as the main contact for clients, responding to inquiries about policy terms, coverage, and service requests
    • Address concerns promptly and within service standards, providing accurate information and solutions
    • Process policy change requests, updates, cancellations, terminations, renewals, and policy audits
    • Ensure accurate data entry into company systems and carrier systems while maintaining up-to-date client files
    • Review and verify policy documents for completeness and accuracy
    • Communicate updates, changes, and service improvements to team members and clients
    • Addresses and resolves policy-related inquiries and issues
    • Review and submit policy payment requests on monthly/quarterly basis
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and implement innovative solutions

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
    • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation insurance policies, procedures, and regulations
    • Professional Employer Organization (PEO) experience is a plus
    • Proficient with MS Office, including intermediate proficiency in Excel
    • Preferred experience with data entry in computer systems and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

    COMPENSATION:

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. However, you should know that the hourly salary range may vary based on regional location, the candidate’s skill, and relevant experience. In addition, some positions may include a form of bonus or other incentive compensation, which would not be included in this salary range.

    Hourly Range: $22.00/hr.- $26.50/hr.
