    Working Field Supervisor Job Description

    Revive General Contracting is looking to hire a skilled working field supervisor who will be responsible for the coordination and execution of all carpentry work on site. He/she will oversee the completion of all tasks related to the construction, repair, and maintenance of buildings, fixtures, and other structures. He/she will inspect all work done by the project team to ensure that it conforms to certain specifications, provide regular progress updates to the production manager and help solve project-related problems.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry work, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

    Working Field Supervisor Responsibilities:

    Supervise and coordinate the work of the company’s carpenters and subcontractors.

    Perform all carpentry duties required, including both rough and finish carpentry.

    Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.

    Create and adjust project schedules accordingly.

    Inspect roofs, floors, walls, ceilings, windows, doors, frames, trim work, stairs, railings etc. for conformance to building codes and safety regulations.

    Operate power saws, nail guns, drills, routers, sanders and other woodworking machines.

    Maintain accurate records of all work done by the project team.

    Working Field Supervisor Skills & Qualifications Needed:

    High school diploma or GED.

    A minimum of 4 years experience as a carpenter.

    Valid driver's license and own transportation.

    Proven experience in residential remodeling or construction.

    Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures, building codes and building materials.

    The ability to safely operate power tools.

    The ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

    Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

    Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
