Job Purpose/Summary
This position involves conducting outreach and engaging the community, as well as providing general support to team programming and services, including workshops. Requires identifying and attending events/meetings to promote Sacred Path programming and events. May be responsible for assisting with virtual or in-person workshops, including purchasing materials, ordering food, securing a location, setting up for in-person workshops, submitting all required supporting documentation, and performing other logistical tasks. Additional tasks may include entering data from workshops and managing workshop/agency registration.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Outreach at community events, meetings, workshops to promote Sacred Path.
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, organizations, and stakeholders to support outreach efforts.
Identify new outreach opportunities and program development based on community needs and feedback.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and outcomes from workshops and outreach activities.
Support the team with various tasks required to meet program objectives. For workshops, this may include placing orders for materials (and food, if applicable), securing a site (if necessary) and helping with set up.
Assist in ensuring that workshops follow procedures (e.g., sign-in sheets, surveys).
Keep supervisor(s) informed of any concerns or challenges.
Other duties as assigned or required to fulfill the mission of Sacred Path.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience in outreach and community engagement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Able to utilize technology tools for virtual sessions.
Position Qualification Preferences
Experience working with the American Indian/Alaska Native community.
Previous experience as a workshop facilitator or in a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to engage diverse audiences.
Comfortable using technology to enhance workshop delivery and engagement.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described are typical of those required by an employee to perform the primary functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk frequently, sit, bend, twist, talk, and hear. There are prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with vendors, and staff.
Mental Demands
There are some deadlines associated with this position. The employee must also multi-task and interact with other team members.

Eligible to work in the United States
Pass fingerprint clearance
Maintain annual negative TB test results on file
Pass a post-offer drug test
Possess and maintain a reliable vehicle with valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance
Available to work evenings and weekends, as needed
Willing to travel, as needed (travel time could range from 30 - 50%)
