    Job Summary:

    PRN Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Worksite Health Specialist / Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) for an industrial setting in Wilsonville, Oregon. This role is designed for a licensed athletic trainer to provide onsite injury prevention, health, and wellness services, with occasional evening hours. Responsibilities include conducting early symptom interventions, ergonomic assessments, and injury prevention programs, aimed at reducing workplace injuries, improving productivity, and enhancing overall employee health and satisfaction.

    As part of PRN Physical Therapy, a leading outpatient provider with over 200 clinics across the Western and Central U.S., this role supports our mission of delivering comprehensive health and safety services. We partner with employers, physicians, case managers, insurance companies, and injured workers to create cost-effective, customized solutions tailored to each workplace's unique needs.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. On-Site Injury Prevention and Early Symptom Intervention
      • Provide full-time onsite coverage for an industrial client under the guidance of the Account/Program Manager.
      • Conduct early symptom intervention assessments and provide first aid as necessary.
      • Develop and deliver injury prevention programs, including individual and group conditioning, stretching programs, functional assessments, and behavior modification strategies.
    2. Ergonomics and Risk Assessment
      • Perform ergonomic risk assessments and recommend and implement ergonomic solutions.
      • Conduct office ergonomics evaluations to reduce musculoskeletal strain and injury.
      • Provide health and wellness consultations to employees as part of injury prevention and health promotion initiatives.
    3. Program Development and Client Collaboration
      • Work collaboratively with the client to implement tailored health programs addressing specific workplace risks and health concerns.
      • Support ongoing program evaluation and adjustments to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Certification: National Athletic Trainers Association (NATABOC) Board of Certification
    • Licensure: State licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
    • Experience: Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; experience in an industrial setting is a plus.
    • Certification: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
    • Skills:
      • Proficiency in musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention strategies.
      • Strong written and oral communication skills, with an ability to educate and engage employees in health and wellness practices.
      • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced industrial environment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to perform assessments and provide first aid and injury prevention interventions onsite, which may include standing, kneeling, and moderate lifting (up to 30 pounds).
    • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and moving in and around the industrial worksite.
    • Capacity to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms.
