TEMPORARY STAFF VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The MANSFIELD CENTER invites applications for a TEMPORARY PROJECT MANAGER. The person assigned to this position is an integral part of planning and organizing activities of the Professional Fellows Program (PFP) of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). PFP is a two-way exchange program between young Southeast Asian professionals and U.S. counterparts. The Mansfield Center’s PFP program is part of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI). The program is designed to promote mutual understanding, enhance leadership and professional skills, and build lasting partnerships between professionals with shared interests.
The employee assigned to this role for YSEALI PFP will assist in the placement of Southeast Asian fellows with Montana-based organizations and support placements of fellows in the Rocky Mountain West. The individual in this position manages all aspects of the program, from assisting with recruitment and selection of Southeast Asian fellows, to the planning of their program and fellowship placements, to the implementation and follow-on of the program, to supporting the travel of U.S. participants to Southeast Asia.
In addition to primary work on PFP, this position will also support additional Mansfield Center programs and activities as a member of the team collaborating on the overall mission to foster globally minded leaders of integrity. The individual assigned to this position will be responsible for the supervision of project coordinators and/or student interns. The standard work schedule will be 8:00am - 5:00pm, M-F, but some evening and weekend hours may be required depending on program needs.

Position Details
POSITION TITLE: TEMPORARY PROJECT MANAGER
POSITION NUMBER: NEW
DEPARTMENT: Mansfield Center
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 12 months/year. Some weekend/evening work may be required based on program needs.
SALARY: $18.35/HR –Current employee’s rate of pay for this position will be determined by the staff compensation plan and will minimally be this posted salary. For questions and details regarding the staff compensation plan, email the Compensation Department.

PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Six months minimum
