Role Overview The Worship Production Coordinator provides audio, video, and lighting support for weekend services as well as midweek and special events in coordination with ministries within The Cross Church high expectation culture and mission to “Spread God’s Fame by making disciples of All People”. The Worship Production Coordinator reports to the Worship Production Manager.
Job Classification Part-time; approximately 30 hours per week.
Schedule Office Hours: Monday – Thursday 8AM to 5PM approximately 20-22 hours
Ministry Hours: Saturday and Sunday approximately 8-10 hours
*In addition to office hours and regularly scheduled worship services, this position is also expected to support ministry and other events as needed that may occur on Friday, in the evenings and on weekends.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Front-of-house audio, stage management, set up/tear down, and general equipment maintenance.
Support live stream audio mix.
Develop live house lighting, developing looks and environments.
Support in-service elements such as slides and sermon notes.
Support the production needs of special events and ministries as needed.
Support the production needs of outside events from time to time.
Help ensure that all production stations are properly operated, serviced, and maintained including installation and training of team members on new equipment.
Meet regularly with worship arts ministry team to debrief past services and plan upcoming services and series.
Assist in volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling for production teams.
Attend Creative Team Meetings, Production Meetings, Chapel, Staff Meetings, and any other meetings that require support from the Worship Arts Ministry Team.
Foster a cooperative, healthy, and motivating relationship with staff, volunteers, and church families.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications, Experience and Critical Skills

Committed to biblical Christian principles and teachings both professionally and personally.
Established pattern of Bible study and prayer.
Ability to use appropriate judgment in the areas of discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality.
Avid learner and innovator with a desire to grow and lead The Cross Church technology to new levels.
Experience with Waves multi-rack or plugins, ProPresenter and Planning Center.
General lighting knowledge (DMX, Art-Net).
General FOH mixing.
General Video/broadcast knowledge.
Can embrace flexibility when priorities shift on short notice.
Able to adapt, troubleshoot and solve problems with little to no notice.
Able to handle multiple moving parts of service production efficiently and effectively.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to organize and give attention to details.
The Cross Church membership is expected.
Ability to speak, read and write English.
Sufficient good health to discharge duties properly.
Passing criminal, financial, and sexual misconduct background checks if applicable.
