POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Operations Analyst monitors and prioritizes the activities of the warehouse teams to maximize efficiency, service degree and order fullfillment.  Major responsibilities include prioritizing pick, pack and ship activities as well as receiving activities to ensure efficient inbound and outbound customer requirements; assuring that best practices are followed with regard to inventory control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews and adjusts SAP Priority Monitor across multiple locations
• Works as liaison with Inside Sales as chief order fulfillment expeditor.
• Monitors and drives resolution to aging deliveries in SAP.
• Monitors and drives resolution to aging receipts of material.
• Monitors and implements scheduled transfers of goods to forwarding stock locations
• Assists Inbound and Outbound Supervisors with daily direction of priorities.
• Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the operational organization.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• High School Degree, College degree preferred.
• 1-2 Years in Inventory Control/Material Handler/Warehousing or similar position.
• 2-5 Years experience working in WS1 system or SAP Inventory Conrol System
• Role requires a self- motivated team player with strong informal leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills
• Experience managing others in similar roles preferred.
• Ability to communicate cross functionally.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word.
• Highly Proficient in Excel.
• Working Knowledge of Warehouse Management systems; SAP is required, WS1 is preferred.  
• Requires lifting ability of up to 40 pounds.  Requires working on concrete surfaces.
• Some travel may be required.
