POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs a variety of warehouse functions accurately and efficiently to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. Directs day-to-day activities of warehouse team and/or work shift in which designated as the Material Handler Lead.

ESSENTIAL DUTIONS & RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:
- Lead: Directs day-to-day activities of warehouse department and work shift in which designated the Lead.
- Expediting: Controls expedite process for Receiving/Replenishment Department ensuring requests are competed on time while focusing on future expedite reduction.
- Receiving: Unloads trucks, verifies parts and receives incoming freight in accordance to Level 1 Inspection parameters.
- Stocking: Verifies product and quantity going into stock, puts product in correct locations utilizing FIFO.
- Order Filling: Prioritizes orders to be filled, fills orders verifying product and quantities are correct and routes orders to appropriate shipping or processing area.
- Shipping: Verifies product matches order to ship, packages order to prevent damage during shipment, ships order using appropriate shipping lines and loads trucks.
- Reporting: Runs daily and weekly reports SAP to ensure proper receiving and stocking procedures and lead times are being adhered to.
- Cycle Counting: Oversees daily cycle count reporting and inventorying with a focus on Continuous Improvement.
- Packaging: Verifies product to be packaged is correct, packages product in appropriate quantities and containers and labels bags/boxes.
- Miscellaneous: Corrects and/or reports any inventory inaccuracy or problem resulting in customer dissatisfaction and maintains a clean and organized work area .
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Material Handling, forklift or previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend documents such as training instructions, shipping tickets, procedure manuals, etc. at a fast pace.
- Ability to add, subtract, multipy, and divide accurately and efficiently.
- Must pass forklift training and maintain forklift certification.
- Must maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Requires lifting ability of up to 80 pounds, with frequent lifting of 40-60 pounds. Requires a lot of walking on a concrete surface.
- Ability to understand and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
