Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to operate radiographic equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient safety while adhering to radiation protocols. This role is critical in supporting accurate diagnoses and delivering efficient imaging services in dynamic healthcare environments.

Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current New Mexico state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Experience: Prior experience in diagnostic imaging (preferred but not required).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment, radiographic positioning, and radiation safety protocols.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, patient-centered communication, and ability to work in fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining steps and addressing concerns.
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture clear diagnostic images of internal structures.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate image results.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self.
- Review and process images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic value.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
- Document patient information, imaging techniques, and outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to prioritize urgent cases.
