Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented per-diem X-Ray Technician to join our surgical team. The X-Ray Tech is responsible for performing high-quality radiographic imaging to assist physicians and surgeons in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety-conscious, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Properly position patients to obtain high-quality images while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to radiation protection guidelines, including proper shielding and monitoring exposure levels.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to provide imaging support during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of imaging studies.
- Assist with routine quality control and maintenance of imaging equipment.

- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred.
- State licensure as an X-Ray Technician (if applicable) required.
- BLS certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a hospital, surgical center, or outpatient setting preferred.
