    XLI Manufacturing’s has been aggressively growing. We are looking to hire a Project Coordinator to join our Sales Team.

    POSITION: Project Coordinator (Full-time - A Shift) – Monday through Friday

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Project Coordinator (PC) acts as a liaison between the customer, sales manager, production and shipping. As a primary support for the business, the PC is the voice of the business and is in direct contact with the customer. This position currently reports to the Direct of Commercial Sales.  This PC will is responsible for supporting sales activities such as Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Purchase Orders, Change Orders, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and maintains both electronic and physical sales order files. The PC also conveys the status of orders, pricing and deliveries to the customer.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Frequent contact with customers, via telephone or email
    • Build & maintain positive relationships with customers
    • Entering and updating orders and inventory in ERP
    • Partnering with Accounts Receivable to ensure shipments are cleared to be sent
    • Communicate with Purchasing regarding third party vendor quotes and lead times
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Capable of meeting assigned deadlines
    • Knowledge of Vista by Epicor or another MRP system
    • Highly skilled in MS Office applications, e. g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Access
    • Understanding of purchase order management
    • Ability to create and maintain sales orders and all related documentation (system and paper files)
    • Maintain system customer master file as directed by the sales and marketing manager
    • Process orders/change orders, Data entry skills
    • Maintain customer price lists
    • Conduct periodic customer surveys
    • Assist with marketing activities
    • Communicate order changes to planning/scheduling
    • Communicate product status to customer
    • Identifies cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities as they relate to the function
    • Participates in corrective and preventive actions
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.A.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Associates Degree in Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing or related course of study – experience will be considered
    • Minimum of two years manufacturing experience
