Yale Appliance is actively hiring Service Technicians and we’re looking for people with great customer service skills who are mechanically inclined with some knowledge of electrical, HVAC, or plumbing.

You bring the basics, and we’ll teach you the rest!

Our top-notch paid training program is unlike anything else out there when it comes to appliance repair. Led by our Training Manager with 20 years of experience, our extensive program is a combination of hands-on learning, computer work, and field learning. We truly believe in setting all our Service Technicians up for success. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and supported in your job, making a happy employee who stays with Yale Appliance for the long-term.

In addition to paid training, we offer a full benefit package that includes health, vision, dental, 401k match, profit sharing, vacation time, sick time, annual reviews, quarterly bonus eligibility, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus!

Working for Yale, you’ll learn to:

Diagnose and repair high-end home appliances

Look up and order parts using company-provided laptop/iPhone

Communicate effectively with customers and the office

Maintain truck stock inventory within company guidelines and standards

Follow truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, neat, organized truck

And right off the bat you’ll be provided with a company service van, tools, a laptop, and a company cell phone.

    What we need from you:

Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge along with the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic manuals.

The desire to learn something new, ask questions, and always communicate. We’re a team and we’re always here to help.

Strong customer service and problem resolution skills. Our customers are our primary focus, and we want to solve their appliance problems.

    Flexibility! Every day is different.

Comfortable driving every day. You’ll be dispatched from home, and you’ll spend your days on the road.

Comfortable working independently. But don’t worry, you’ll have all the support and resources you may need at your fingertips.

Physical ability to handle repetitive lifting and maneuvering of appliances and working with tools. You’re going to be moving around all day.

Some basic computer skills to use a laptop and iPhone in the field.

Great time management skills. You’ll get your route each day and it’ll be up to you to manage your working hours and maximize your output. More calls completed = more money in your pocket!

If you’re a tinkerer, if you love working with your hands, if you like to rebuild computers or do home projects, this could be what you’re looking for. We need fixers and problem solvers who want a career and a place to call home.
