    Job Description

    We are seeking a Yard Coordinator to organize the activities of drivers and yard associates across the DC3 location. This role will work closely with leadership to ensure trailer availability and status tracking is accurately tracked to ensure the warehouse operation will flow efficiently. This is a growing role and as we grow there will be further duties assigned to this role.

    A day in the office looks like this:

    • Synchronizing operations in the yard with those in the warehouse; optimizing proper flow of trailer movement within the DC3 campus
    • Maintaining an accurate YMS consisting of trailers and inventory storage trailers at various stages within the campus
    • Coordinating with Leadership to ensure trailers are moved both into warehouse doors and between the off-site locations to ensure trailers are available for the operation
    • Assigning drivers and hostlers the direction on the movement of equipment both on the yard and between locations
    • Communicate with leadership to ensure proper trailer pools are maintained for operational needs
    • Support operational leadership with reporting
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience working within a WMS or YMS system
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel is a must
    • Professional phone etiquette
    • Ability to read, write and speak English
