Yard Hand/ Laborer

At Poly Lift Boat Lifts, we understand our reputation is built on our commitment to quality. Attention to detail and commitment to quality is essential for our roles. As a Poly Lift Yard team member, you will be responsible for the accuracy, safety and organization of our products and parts.

Key Responsibilities-

• Forklift operation
• Learn and remember all 500+ parts and their locations in the Manufacturing Plant.
• Put away and organize inventory.
• Load and unload semi-trailers using forklifts.
• Work independently and a part of a team.
• Learn and understand the importance of how the parts are stacked and put away to ensure all parts are able to fit in their desired locations.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Help guide others when needed on operating forklifts.

Physical and Workplace requirements-

• Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, push, pull and lift 80lbs throughout the day.
• Ability to appropriately read a tape measurer and count large quantities of manufacturing parts.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.

These roles are often physically demanding and may involve working in strenuous and changing weather conditions
