ACCOUNT MANAGER
RhythmOne has an outstanding opportunity in our fast growing sales
support team as Account Manager – Direct Accounts. As an Account
Manager of Direct Accounts, you will be responsible for working as a
partner with your Account Executive(s) on the Direct Sales team to
respond to RFPs and build proposals, launch and monitor campaigns for
delivery and performance, as well identify opportunities to upsell to
your clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Sale:
- Proposal Building – both Excel and PowerPoint in conjunction with
the AE
- Product knowledge – pricing, specs, functions
- Provide supporting research for recommended media strategies
- Work with internal teams to create a campaign that aligns with
client goals
- Communicate with clients to understand all RFP submissions along
with AE’s
- Work with Sales to ensure Sales Force is up to date
Post-Sale:
- Own each client campaign from IO through post-delivery reporting
- Communicate campaign creative specs to agencies/advertisers
- Interface with Operations regarding campaign trafficking
- Work with Pricing and Yield Management team to ensure campaigns are
successfully optimized for performance and delivery
- Confirm 3rd Party tracking elements are recording at the onset,
during and post campaign delivery and trouble shoot for any tagging
or creative discrepancies
- Provide month end billing and reconciliation reporting
- Accompany sales on external calls and meetings where appropriate:
post campaign follow–up to ensure repeat business and renewals
Research & Analytics:
- Provide supporting research for recommended media strategies
- Create internal and external post campaign analysis
- Provide reporting on an ad hoc and weekly basis
Relationship Management:
- Provide World Class Client Service by communicating to clients in a
proactive, consistent and informative manner
- Become an expert in the online video industry and RhythmOne ad
products
- Develop an ongoing relationship with agencies/advertisers
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience:
- Must be passionate about the online space and have terrific grasp of
the online media landscape
- At least 3 year’s experience in online account management, online
sales planning/buying or ad networks (online video a plus)
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast moving start-up
environment
- Effective project management and excellent time management skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Knowledge of ad serving, verification and reporting tools: DART,
Atlas, Sizmek, MOAT, DoubleVerify, IAS, etc
- Experience with CRM solution such as Sales Force
- Familiarity with ComScore, Nielsen/NetRatings, @Plan. Media Audit
a plus.

Education:
