Job Title: Yoga Instructor Job Family: Wellness
Friday 8-9 am and/or Saturday 8-9 am
Position Summary:
Lead and instruct members through postures and breathing techniques in a safe manner that provides proper alignment cues and terminology.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrates proper technique and routines for class participation.
Conduct and lead class using verbal cues that allow for easy interpretation
Use visual assessment skills to offer modifications as necessary
Possess the knowledge and education to circulate energy throughout the bodily systems
Properly develop a class plan with appropriate beginning, middle and end sequences
Develops routines for diversity, enjoyment and is energizing
Maintains class attendance records; encourages participant commitment individually and as a group
Identify and address participant safety concerns

Qualifications:
200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certification
Physically able to conduct and demonstrate routines
Ability to interact and instruct individuals of a wide range of age and ability.
Physical Demands:
Required to physically perform and communicate exercise routines
Ability to react to emergency situations by quick movements
