    Job Description

     

    JOB OVERVIEW:

     

    We are looking for a Type A, high speed, very intuitive and motivated hybrid administrative assistant and sales representative to join our rapidly growing virtual nutritional counseling and consulting business.

     

    At Your Diabetes Insider, we remove restrictions on the lives of patients living with diabetes to help them achieve amazing blood sugars while eating great food and becoming the strongest versions of themselves. This is a very exciting opportunity to work directly with members of the diabetes community and help them improve their quality of life, as well as help our team achieve our goals and keep the ship running smoothly.

     

    This hybrid role will assist in all parts of the company’s workflow, from social media management (primarily Instagram and Tiktok), data tracking and interpretation, handling messages, phone calls, and followup with prospective clients, and performing sales conversations to enroll new patients within our program.

     

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

    -correspondence with prospective and existing patients and healthcare facilities via phone, email, and messaging

    -prospect and qualify new sales leads

    -Assists with social media messaging and posting (Facebook and Tiktok)

    -Follows up on rejected health insurance claims -Supports expansion of the Your Diabetes Insider team by performing organizational tasks consistent with growth

     

     

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    -1+ year of administrative experience (medical office experience is a plus)

    -Sales experience is a plus

    -Knowledgeable about social media platforms and how to use

    -Open and willing to learn new skills

    -Excellent verbal communication skills - I can trust you communicating on my behalf

    -Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey benefits of our program to potential customers

    -Aggressive with the execution of tasks - you jump into projects quickly & are action-oriented

    -Proactive with tasks & follow-through

    -Not overly sensitive - you understand that in a fast-paced environment you’re not always going to get a smiley emoji & you’re ok with that -Does not take no for an answer- always figures out a way to make something work

    -Experience with diabetes is a major plus
