    SUMMARY: As a youth development staff member, you will be implementing high quality YMCA youth program(s). This opportunity is ideal for those with a passion for investing in kids and who are interested in building leadership skills and experience working with youth.

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: No nights or weekends (our programs close at 6pm, M-F). For those in college, flexible schedule around your class schedule. Strong resume-building and leadership development experience. Opportunity to start a career with a well-recognized organization.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Create engaging activities that focus on achievement, belonging, and relationships. Maintain program site and materials providing organization and sanitation. Supervise youth with a dedication to our standards and procedures. Provide guidance to youth and promoting positive behavior and effective communication.

    QUALIFICATIONS: At least 18 years of age. Ability to obtain certifications within 90 days of hire. Ability to plan, organize and implement program activities. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds.

    Salary: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour (Based on certificate/degree and experience)
