    Join the Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse (CADA) as a Youth Diversion Program Coordinator, making a meaningful impact on adolescents in recovery in Santa Barbara.

    As an important part of our leadership team at our Daniel Bryant Youth and Family Center, this role will supervise the Case Managers in our Diversion programs. This individual will work with our partner agencies (schools, lawyers/judges, probation, law enforcement) on how to best support youth to keep from re-offending as we expand and enhance our diversion programming.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree OR 2 years related experience in a helping profession, criminal justice, or related field

    Strong written and oral communication skills

    Excellent managerial, organizational, and administrative skills

    Ability to work with persons from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds

    Experience supervising staff, coordinating programs, and working with youth, preferred.

    Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

    Responsibilities:

    Organize and manage attendance records, Teen Court calendar, and documentation distribution to relevant entities (schools, probation, etc.).

    Recruit, train, and supervise Diversion Program Case Managers, volunteers, and interns, ensuring ongoing support and performance management.

    Handle client referrals, conduct intake assessments, develop support plans, and monitor client progress throughout the program.

    Coordinate and facilitate psycho-educational classes and group services, including drug testing and attendance tracking.

    Represent the program through community outreach, public speaking, and inter-agency collaboration to promote its impact and value.

    Maintain a professional work environment, ensuring facilities are clean and organized, and assist with additional tasks as needed.

    This is an in-person position, and the successful candidate will be required to meet with clients onsite. It will require some evening hours (Teen Court runs in the late afternoon/early evening). The position is full time, 40 hours per week.

    Compensation is dependent on the level of prior experience and qualifications, with a salary range of $25-$28 per hour, and a rate increase potential for bilingual (Spanish/English). Benefits for full time employees include health, dental, vision, life, retirement, and paid time off (vacation, sick, holiday).

    In compliance with the California Department of Health Care Services, staff require an up-to-date Tuberculosis test during the duration of employment.
