Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Leader to join our team. This role will be supporting instructors in the classes listed below. With also guiding and mentoring young individuals in various activities, fostering their personal growth, and providing a safe and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will possess skills in sports coaching, special education, and behavior management, and will be committed to nurturing the development of youth through educational and recreational programs.
This is an On-call position however the first two weeks are mandatory.
Classes to assist with are:
Cheer & Hip Hop
Sports Performance training
Music Production &
Leadership Development
The program leader for this position must be available for Ready, Set, Summer Event to represent AGC

· Date: Sunday, April 13, 2025
· Time: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
· Location: Barbara Lee Senior Center and plaza areas, 40 N. Milpitas Boulevard
· A table, two chairs and tablecloth will be provided to each vendor.

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise youth activities, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
Develop and implement engaging programs that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Utilize sports coaching techniques to encourage teamwork, discipline, and skill development among participants.
Provide support for children with special needs or behavioral challenges through effective behavior management strategies.
Maintain a clean and organized space for all activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
Experience in sports coaching or teaching related fields is preferred.
Background in daycare or special education is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of behavior management techniques.
Ability to educate youth on various subjects while maintaining engagement.
Certification in first aid is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds.
A strong commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
