The West Fargo Park District is seeking enthusiastic Youth Soccer League Coaches for our January and February sessions. If you have soccer knowledge and experience working with youth, this is a great opportunity to share your skills in a fun and supportive environment!

Position Overview

As a Youth Soccer League Coach, you will supervise and coach youth soccer games while teaching fundamental soccer skills. You'll lead engaging drills and promote a positive, team-oriented environment for young players.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Games: Ensure smooth operation of youth soccer games, ensuring safety and fair play.

Coach Drills: Instruct players in foundational soccer drills to build basic skills and teamwork.

Teach Soccer Fundamentals: Help players understand essential techniques such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.

Create a Fun Environment: Foster a positive and enjoyable experience that encourages a love for soccer.

Engage with Participants: Interact with players and parents in a friendly and professional manner.

Work Schedule

This seasonal role requires availability for the following dates and times:

● Saturdays: January 4–February 15, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm

Qualifications

● Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.

● Soccer Knowledge: Experience playing or familiarity with soccer fundamentals.

● Experience with Children: Prior experience working with young children, especially in sports or recreational settings.

● Public Relations Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with children and their parents.

● Positive Attitude: Enthusiastic and encouraging approach to coaching youth.
