Job Summary
The Referee is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Referee will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the rules of the sports are adhered to and taught along the way. The position entails hands-on involvement games among all age groups and skill levels.
Responsibilities
Assertive and effective communicator with Coaches, Players and Parents
Knowledge of the Sport and fully understands the complete set of Rules for the aligned sport
Resources, Rule Books, and Training provided
Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
Start All Games on Time and keep track of Scores & possibly high level player stats
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Sport-specific Referee experience & knowledge
Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
Flexible Schedule to work Saturdays/Sundays (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
