    About Us: Phoenix is a dedicated 24-hour care facility providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for male youth ages 10-17 who are facing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Our team is committed to helping young individuals build life skills, foster emotional well-being, and succeed in a positive and supportive environment.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Direct Care Staff to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care and supervision to the youth in our facility, ensuring their safety, well-being, and positive development. You will play a key role in helping each youth achieve their personal goals, while promoting a respectful, supportive, and structured atmosphere.

    Hiring for 2nd shift and Overnight. Must be able to work weekends.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide supervision and guidance to youth residents in a 24-hour facility setting

    Support youth in daily activities, including meals, recreational activities, and educational programs

    Monitor behavior and implement behavior management plans as needed

    Assist in the development of individual service plans and goals for each youth

    Maintain a safe and structured environment for youth at all times

    Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other staff members

    Document progress, incidents, and other required information accurately

    Participate in training and development to enhance skills in working with youth in care

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education or related training is a plus

    2+ yesrs Experience working with youth, especially in a care, educational, or behavioral setting, preferred

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to handle challenging behavior in a calm, patient, and respectful manner

    Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

    CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
