ZOA ENERGY REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Increase market share while promoting and marketing all products distributed by the company through targeted markets in a manner to understand and meet customer’s expectations. The Regional Sales Manager is a person who promotes and contributes to the overall profitability of the company.
LEAD ACTIVITIES:
· Responsible to build and promote a positive rapport with all the Customers and Distributors within defined region; opportunities, customer issues, challenges and questions and responses required in a timely and professional manner.
· Responsible to be prepared in all sales/business meetings and presentations as per the company Sales process.
· Manager direct and oversee Territory Sales Managers to ensure they are delivering against company objectives.
· Develop and train Territory Managers so they understand and deliver against company KPI’s.
· Responsible for learning and becoming familiar with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
· Responsible to learn and share product knowledge on all new & existing product lines while understanding competitive products offered by competitors in the marketplace.
· Ability to manage and maintain proper planning procedures and execute all in-call objectives and priorities.
· Responsible to plan and execute a well-balanced call cycle to ensure full territory management. Successful coverage should consider size of account, buying habits and competition. Must maintain a minimum call frequency to ensure proper coverage.
BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITIES
· Report to and keep our National VP of Sales well informed for your region
· Manage Region and Territory Sales Managers in their continued pursuit of regional/territorial growth and market penetration
· Call on distributors and retail accounts in all channels of business
· Lead your Region to meet or exceed sales budgets while delivering margins and profitability.
· Manage and OWN all retailers and distributors within defined region as well as MCBC and LA Libation as defined by Director and VP of Sales.
· Ensure efficient execution of existing and new promotional events and calendars
· Coach, train, lead and develop direct reports and field support team. Direct hiring, staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
· Maintain and develop Distributor network. Ensure yourself and team are penetrating distributor at all levels to ensure maximum brand awareness and growth
· Ensure that all key strategies and objectives are executed as designed
· Business Planning - Ability to execute against Annual Operating Plan (AOP) as defined within their respective region.
· Responsible to continually increase sales and market share while contributing to the overall profitability of the company.
· Submit regular recaps outlining objectives, results, barriers, and opportunities. Understanding how the ZOA Energy, Molson Coors and our Distributors operates and leverage resources to support our brands.
· Ability to think outside of the box and get creative with new and exciting solutions to help build our brands.
COMMUNICATES WITH: Customers, Director of Sales Manager, VP of Sales, Business Partners, and other Sales Professionals.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS -
· 3 - 5 years’ experience preferred in sales and management, preferably in the non-alcoholic beverage and/or consumer products industry. Summer internship at a beverage company a plus.
· Ability to travel, proactive take ownership.
· Excellent driving record and insurance, required.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal/written) with the ability to interact effectively internally as well as with external contacts.
· Strong computer skills to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Work well both independently and as a team member.
· Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
· Ability to effectively manage time and goal oriented.
· Excellent listening skills and ability to problem solve and provide solutions.
