Hello Covered is looking for an experienced INSURANCE AGENT to drive rapid growth for our insurance business. We are a part of the Dallas-based startup, ZYYAH, a digital community and experience for home management.

Hello Covered needs your help with quoting and issuing policies. Skip the prospecting step! We have high-quality leads from our top mortgage and real estate partners. Leverage our access to multiple carriers to create competitive quotes. In addition to selling policies, you will be building a book of business where you will have the opportunity to provide top-notch customer service and keep in touch with your clients.

This role is based in our Rockwall, TX office. You are responsible for managing the insurance sales process from initial contact to issuing policies and beyond! Our goal is to provide the best customer service and offer solutions that are just right for our clients.

You will have the opportunity to leverage our network, in addition to bringing in your own leads, to make sure your clients’ homes and valuables are fully protected by Hello Covered.

Responsibilities:

• Follow up on leads from our ZYYAH platform and turn those prospects into customers.
• Make outbound sales calls and ensure timely follow-up.
• Support the marketing plans and execution against our sales strategy.
• Deep understanding of our products, market, competition, and consumer behavior of our multiple audiences — homeowners, real estate agents, and home service professionals.
• Adherence to insurance best practices and related guidelines and standards.
• Regularly report on progress and ensure goals are being met and initiate a change in strategy as needed to ensure success.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of insurance sales experience
• Property & Casualty license
• Life Insurance license a plus!
• Ability to communicate well to both prospects and customers
• Passion for helping and providing top customer service!
• Deep understanding of insurance products, experience quoting and working with carriers to issue policies.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational & project management skills
• The ability to balance multiple priorities maintaining quality of work and adherence to deadlines
